Prompt: You’re asked to recite a poem (or song lyrics) from memory — what’s the first one that comes to mind? Does it have a special meaning, or is there another reason it has stayed, intact, in your mind?

Hands down it would be “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Disney’s Encanto. Why? Because I’ve watched Encanto three times this month, the song is in my playlist, and whenever it comes up I let it play all the way through- no exceptions.

Do I try to sing all the parts? Damn straight.

SIDE NOTE: My favorite part is a tie between Pepa and Félix’s verse or Dolores’ verse.

My second choice would be “Stand Out” from Disney’s A Goofy Movie. I love this song so much I bought it from the iTunes store back when it wasn’t available on Spotify. That’s my level of commitment.
